I am currently a third-year visiting undergraduate student at Harvard College and a BSc Economic History and Geography candidate at the London School of Economics (LSE). At LSE, I was the first student to be awarded with both the Lilian Knowles Prize for the Best Set of First-Year Marks and the Baines Prize for the Best Mark in EH101. At Harvard, I concentrate in Government and Economics and am an affiliated undergraduate fellow at the the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. Before beginning my studies at LSE, I was also offered a fully funded undergraduate place at the University of Tokyo through the University of Tokyo Scholarship.
I aspire to conduct research with real-world policy influence. My academic interests centre on the political economy of development and environmental governance, with a focus on China and East Asia. Alongside my academic work, I currently lead a research team at the Charles Rivers Economic Labs, where I collaborate with the Asian Development Bank on sustainable transport infrastructure and climate resilience, assessing how adaptation investments can reduce flood damage and road closures in Papua New Guinea.
